Join Our Urology Clinic Team as an LPN!

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? We invite you to join our team at OHSU's Urology Clinic, where you’ll be an essential part of delivering top-quality care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Two Positions Available

  • South Waterfront @ OHSU Center for Health & Healing 1 (CHH1)
  • East Portland @ OHSU Adventist (10000 SE Main Street, Portland)

As an LPN, you’ll work closely with our physicians to provide both direct and indirect patient care. You’ll be responsible for interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, preparing them for exams, and assisting with procedures. Beyond hands-on care, you’ll also help maintain smooth clinic operations by ensuring accurate charting, preparing records, and triaging phone calls to assess urgent and non-urgent situations.

You’ll play a key role in facilitating patient flow through the clinic and ensuring each patient’s medical records are complete and accurate. Plus, you’ll work alongside providers to coordinate essential resources like tests, orders, radiology, and results, ensuring top-tier care at every step of the process.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an LPN who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a difference in patient care.

As an LPN at OHSU, you'll work under the guidance of a Licensed Independent Practitioner, following hospital policies and procedures to provide essential care as part of the patient care team. Your role will include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs, assisting with basic treatments and procedures, and ensuring accurate patient information is documented. Additionally, you’ll have opportunities for continuous professional growth through competency assessments and participation in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. This position offers a chance to contribute to high standards of care while fulfilling the responsibilities outlined in the Compliance Roles and Responsibilities for OHSU staff.

This position is committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times. You’ll promote positive health habits through your professional appearance and attitude, while adhering to OHSU’s Code of Conduct and Policies and Procedures, as well as the standards set by the Department of Urology. We value ethical behavior, professionalism, compliance, and personal integrity, and expect all team members to model these principles in every aspect of their work.
