Services include catheterizations, specimen collections, prostate/testicular biopsies, cystoscopies, cystograms, lupograms, retro urethrograms, calypso beacon, gold seed placements, urodynamics, vasectomies, stent exchanges/removals/placements, voiding trials, medication administration (BCG, Lupron, Trimix, Xiaflex, testosterone pellets, Botox), Foley placement, catheter irrigations, and dilations.

The Labor & delivery and Mother Baby Units combined provide intrapartum, antepartum and newborn care to low and at-risk populations. Care is provided based on acuity, patient type and is in line with the Association of Obstetric, Women’s Health and Neonatal Nurses Guidelines for patients care (AWHONN).

The PIMC nursing team facilitates nursing cares which mimic a step down intensive care unit versus an acute floor. The patients cared for on the PIMC involve multiple organ system failures and range from 1 day old to 18 years old (sometimes up to 22 years old if still followed by pediatric physicians).

The Dialysis Department regular service hours are from 0700—1900 Monday thru Saturday with mandatory on-call service Monday thru Saturday 1900—0700 and all day on Sunday and holidays. This 12-bed unit serves as a critical step between the Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and the Acute Care setting, supporting early recovery, close neurological observation, and safe transitions along the continuum of care. The IMCU emphasizes patient safety, early mobility, multidisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based neuroscience nursing within a supportive and professional work environment.
