The Adult Ambulatory Oncology Clinic at OHSU Center for Health and Healing, building 2 (CHH2) serves patients within Medical Oncology, Hematologic Malignancies, Cellular Therapy, Gynecologic Oncology, Palliative Care and Classical Hematology. We collaborate with Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Infusion services, Dietitians, Pharmacy, Social Work, Case Management and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team to provide exceptional oncology care for our patients and community. The ED team is responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, coordination of interventions, and facilitation of specialty consultations. Procedures and treatments provided include venous access placement, blood specimen collection, medication, fluid, and blood product administration, radiographic imaging, splinting and fracture reduction, laceration repair, moderate and deep sedation, point-of-care ultrasonography, advanced airway management including intubation, cardioversion, sexual assault examinations, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and emergency deliveries.

The Labor & delivery unit provides intrapartum, antepartum and newborn care to low-risk and at-risk populations. Care is provided based on acuity and patient type and is in line with the Association of Obstetric, Women's Health and Neonatal Nurses Guidelines for patients care (AWHONN).

They engage in daily multidisciplinary rounds Monday through Friday to develop and implement patient discharge plans with input from various other disciplines. The RN case manager is responsible for coordinating post-acute and discharge needs in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Using established criteria to determine appropriateness of continued hospital stay, RN case managers work with payors on obtaining needed authorizations for ongoing hospitalization and/or identified post-acute needs.
