The Adult Community Hematology Oncology clinics serve patients within Medical Oncology, Hematologic Malignancies, Gynecologic Oncology, Palliative Care, and Classical Hematology. We collaborate with Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Infusion services, Dietitians, Pharmacy, Social Work, Case Management and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team to provide exceptional oncology care for our patients and community. This position works with our oncology patients in collaboration with our palliative care department.

Patients with specific pediatric oncology diagnosis may be followed until the age of 25 years.  Presenting diagnosis may include leukemia, brain tumors, bone tumors, sarcoma, lymphomas, blood diseases, immunological diseases, storage diseases, Bone Marrow Transplants and Graft vs Host Disease patients.  Nurses on this unit also provide support to Hem/Onc/BMT patients on other units, to include but not limited to chemotherapy support, expertise with BMT patients and central lines.
